Q&A

Here you can find short answers to common questions.

I don’t live in Sweden, can you coach me?

Yes, I accept international clients. You can choose if you want to be talk English, Spanish or Swedish with me.

I want help with my form, can you help me?

I can help to certain extent. If you send me a video, or if we plan a video call, I can give you certain cues to help improve your form. However this won’t be as hands on as if we have a training session together in real life of course.

Is it dangerous to work out while pregnant?

In most cases no. On the contrary, health care professionals encourge moderate excersise for pregnant people for the health benefits. There are however a few cases where health complications will inhibit you to workout. In these cases your health care provider will tell you this, and if you are unsure you should speak to him/her. During a healthy and normal pregnancy however, the benefits outweighs the risks.

Why do you recommend wheight lifting?

I recommend weight lifting because it offers numerous health benefits beyond just building muscle. Strength training helps increase bone density, reducing the risk of osteoporosis, especially as you age. It also boosts metabolism by promoting lean muscle mass, making it easier to burn fat even at rest. Weight lifting improves functional strength, which enhances daily activities and reduces the risk of injury. Additionally, it supports joint health, improves posture, and enhances overall body composition. For mental health, weight lifting can boost confidence, reduce stress, and improve mood by releasing endorphins.

Can you heal diastasis recti through exercise?

Diastasis recti, a separation of the abdominal muscles, can be improved and, in some cases, healed with proper exercise and care. Working with a physical therapist or a trainer experienced in postnatal fitness can ensure you're doing the right exercises safely and increase your chances of reaching your goal. Patience and consistency are key, as healing diastasis recti can take time, and the process varies from person to person and results can’t be promised. In some cases surgery may be necessary.

Do I need to train cardio?

Cardio training is essential for maintaining heart health, improving lung capacity, and boosting overall endurance. While it’s not the only type of exercise needed for a balanced fitness routine, I do recommend 75-150 minutes of cardio excersise every week in line with WHO’s recommendations.
